Aquatic Exercise Routines for Arthritis Hip & Knee Pain : Crossover Aquatic Exercise


Hi my name is Rotem I’m a Exercise Physiologist
and Aquatic Therapist and I’m here on behalf of Expert Village. The next exercise is called
the crossover. Now hold the wall, with one leg balance yourself on the other leg, pull
it up higher and then lower it and push it towards the wall of the pool. Like crossing
the support of the leg so lift it to the side, then crossover the supporting leg bring it
closer to the wall. Now the foot and toes are pointing forward so don’t take it to the
side. The whole time make sure that the movement is forward. Now to the other side, lift the
leg to the side, and then crossover, bring it to the side and crossover.
