Aquatic Exercise Routines for Arthritis Hip & Knee Pain : Flamingo Aquatic Exercise


Hi my name is Rotem I’m a Exercise Physiologist
and Aquatic Therapist and I’m here on behalf of Expert Village. The next exercise is called
a flamingo you would start by holding the wall. Make sure again your are inside of the
water I’m showing you outside though. Lift your leg, bend you knee, now turn the whole
leg to the side when the knee is bent. Bring it back to the center and lower it. Now lift
it high, turn to the side, return to the center and bring it back down. Now to the other side
I’m lifting the leg, now the thigh is parallel to the floor, turn to the side, bring it to
the center and lower it.
