Capri, Italy MUST-DO: Swim Grotta Azzurra, “Blue Cave”

We’re on the island of Capri in Italy.
We’re right here on holiday. It is so beautiful. We’re doing a trip all around the Amalfi
Coast. I’m not doing a video on the entire holiday, just the one thing that
you need to know if you come to Capri. You cannot miss these caves called Grotta Azzurra. And here’s the tip for you when you go… Okay, when you go, skip the boats. Don’t pay the money to have someone take you in in the boat. Wait till five o’clock when the boats leave, put on your mask and snorkel, and just swim in. It’s the coolest swim you’ll ever take. Alright, so here’s what you’ve gotta do. Go to Grotta Azzura at or just after 5:00 p.m. As Connor
mentioned, that’s when the small boat guided tours into the cave stop. The
closer to 5:00 p.m. you go, the less other swimmers will be there. It can get
pretty crowded once others begin to descend on the cave. Here’s the thing: if
you go in with a boat, you miss the coolest part, which is the view from
under the surface of the water. So put your goggles on, get in the water, and
swim into the cave. There’s a metal chain you can hold on to, which can come in
handy because when the waves swell in it can kind of push you around. So once
you’re in… have fun! Explore and be awed by Grotta Azzurra. that’s it have fun it’s awesome
