FROM THE JEEPS SPORTSCENTER, THIS IS 11 SPORTS. BRETT: MICHAEL PHELPS IS BACK IN THE POOL AND ZEROING IN ON 2016 IN RIO. BUT TONIGHT WAS ALL ABOUT PAYING TRIBUTE TO HIS HOME POOL, MEADOWBROOKE, WHERE PHELPS SWAM THERE AS PART OF THE NORTH BATLIMORE AQUATIC CLUB FOR THE LAST TIME. THE 18-TIME GOLD MEDALIST HAS U.S. NATIONALS COMING UP IN A FEW WEEKS IN SAN ANTONIO. BUT PHELPS IN THE POOL TONIGHT AND OUR OWN KEITH MILLS WAS THERE AND HE SAID IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST ELECTRIC SPORTS ENVIRONMENTS HE HAS EVER BEEN TO. AND THAT’S SAYING SOMETHING COMING FROM KEITH. PHELPS BEATS AUSTIN SURHOFF, THE SON OF FORMER ORIOLE B.J. SURHOFF. BUT AGAIN, THE HEADLINE HERE WAS THE SUPPORT AT MEADOWBROOKE FOR MICHAEL PHELPS. MICHAEL PHELPS: THIS MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON, REMINISCING ABOUT SOME OF THE OLD MEMORIES AND A GREAT TIMES WE HAVE HAD HERE. EITHER ME WATCHING MORE SISTERS — MY SISTERS OR MYSELF. IT IS GOOD TO HAVE MY FAMILY AND A COUPLE OF FRIENDS HERE TO SUPPORT TONIGHT. A VERY REWARDING TO WATCH IT ALL TOGETHER AND WATCH MICHAEL. THE MICHAEL PHELPS: LEGACY HERE. I AM VERY PROUD OF THAT.
