More Heat, Along With Chance For More T-Storms

HERE IS LAUREN WHITNEY NOW. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT STORMS. OUT ON OUR FAR EASTERN PLAINS, THERE ARE A FEW STORMS THAT ARE POPPING. WE HAVE HAD A FEW OUT ON THE SOUTHEASTERN PLAINS. LET’S START BY ZOOMING ON TO FORT MORGAN. WE HAVE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING THAT WILL BE IN PLACE THROUGH 5:30 PM. WE HAVE A LOT OF LIGHTNING, HEAVY RAIN AND SOME QUARTER SIZED HAIL. BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH THE 60 MILES PER HOUR WINDS . AS WE TAKE A LOOK ON THE NORTHEASTERN PLANES, YOU CAN SEE WE HAVE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH THROUGH 1 PM TOMORROW MORNING. IT WILL BE A LATE NIGHT WITH STORMS ON OUR EASTERN PLAINS. THIS WILL MOVE INTO WYOMING AND NEBRASKA. OUR THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER TODAY IS IN THE FAR NORTHEASTERN CORNER OF THE STAGE. BE EXTRA CAREFUL TONIGHT, MAKE SOME PRECAUTIONS BEFORE YOU GO TO BED. WE ARE ON THE CLOUDY SIDE FOR MANY OF US. A COUPLE OF THESE STORMS HAVE TURNED SEVERE. IT IS NOT JUST US, IT IS PARTS OF OHIO — IOWA AND INTO NEBRASKA. WE HAVE A COLD FRONT THAT WORKED ITS WAY THROUGH EARLIER TODAY. IT IS NOW BRINGING SEVERE WEATHER TO THE MIDWEST. LOOKING AT FUTURECAST FOR TONIGHT, WE STILL HAVE STORMS POSSIBLE EVEN LATER THAN FUTURECAST IS SHOWING. SOME OF THEM COULD BE LASTING THROUGH THE MORNING. THERE IS A CHANCE OF A FEW MORE THUNDERSTORMS TOMORROW MAINLY ON THE EASTERN PLAINS THAT COULD POTENTIALLY TURN SEVERE. IT IS OUR EASTERN PLAINS THAT COULD GET HIT TOMORROW. IT IS STILL HOT OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. 91 IN DENVER. 98 IN LA MARQUE. THE COLD FRONT THAT CAME THROUGH TODAY DID NOT COOL US OFF AT ALL. WE HAVE 90 FROM OUR WEATHER WATCHER DIANE NORTHWEST OF BRUSH. EARLIER TODAY, 92 OUT AT DIA. WE WERE 3 DEGREES COOLER THAN YESTERDAY. TONIGHT, A LOT OF THE 50s. 58 IN DENVER. 59 IN BURLINGTON. 56 IN MONTROSE. TOMORROW, IT IS STILL A HOT DAY. 92 IN DENVER. UPPER TO MID-NINETIES IN THE SOUTHEAST. 75 IN FRISCO. 79 IN ASPEN. IT WILL BE AN OZONE ACTION DAY IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPIRATORY
