NASA’s CAMP2Ex Heads to the Philippines for Monsoon Season

NASA’s P3 research plane, a LearJet and the R/V Sally Ride are joining forces in the western Pacific Ocean. With a fleet of scientific instruments, studying how tiny particles in the atmosphere affect cloud formation and precipitation for improved weather and climate forecasting. Bringing together NASA, the Naval Research Laboratory, the Office of Naval Research’s PISTON program and the Manila Observatory with support from the Philippines government.
