Orlando Tourism : Orlando Tourism: Wet ‘n Wild

Wet ‘N Wild was the world’s first water park
that opened in nineteen-seventy-seven. As a matter of fact, its founder George Millay
is recognized today as the founding father of the water park industry. Located on International
Drive, tourist hub of restaurants, shops and attractions, Wet ‘N Wild has something to
offer every member of the family. From thrill rides for the adventure seekers to more relaxing
fare like floating on the lazy river or enjoying the surf lagoon wave pool, there’s also the
kid’s park that offers miniature versions of most of the park’s adult rides for the
smaller members of the family to enjoy. There’s plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and
whether you’re in the mood for pizza, chicken, burgers, or some ice cream to cool off, Wet
‘N Wild has you covered. The park has consistently been honored as one of the nation’s best attended
water parks by Amusement Business Magazine since nineteen-ninety-two. Be sure and check
out their website www.wetnwild.com for more information about height requirements and
restrictions for each ride.
