Swimming Goggles & Accessories : How to Prevent Swim Goggles From Fogging Up

Hello, my name is Hector Inga, owner of Lane
Four Swim Shop in Austin, Texas. And I’ve been asked to talk about how to prevent your
swimming goggles from fogging up. Most of the swimming goggles nowadays come with the
anti-fog treatment, it is a coating that you have on the inside of the lens, and something
very important for you not to do is to touch the inside. Even when you have to clean them,
you want to rinse them, get the stuff that is in there out, shake them to dry and that
will keep your goggles going on for quite a while. Since it is a coating with the chemicals
in the pool and everything eventually that coating will go out, you know, goggles will
last some people more than others, there’s really not a time limit on how long a goggle
would last or how long the anti-fog coating would last. So that’s one of the reasons why
we sell anti-fog coating. So as soon as you notice that your goggles are starting to fog
up you may come by and purchase a little bottle of anti-fog spray, you would just spray a
little bit of this on your lens, coat the lenses and rinse them, and then your goggles
should last you for a little while longer. This is a lot cheaper than buying another
pair of goggles.
