-I’m so sad. I know this is embarrassing.
I’m crying. I’m so mad I didn’t turn. The fact that
you picked that song… It was cool. I’m so sorry. -Aww, she’s so sweet. What’s your name? -My name is Stephanie Skipper.
I’m 33. I grew up in Pennsylvania, but I live in Nashville,
Tennessee, now. -Oh, come on. Come on.
-Mm-hmm. -Yes!
-Damn it. Blake Shelton just totally peed

was there, and I think that is

wants to sing perfectly, but the artist in my heart
is like, “Let me out of here.”
-Yeah. -So, I feel like I did something
brave today, and so… -Oh, man, that’s awesome. -Yeah.
-So thank you. -My favorite part of your voice
was this beautiful quiver-lilt that’s inside of it. I think it’s really unique, and so, I’m really excited
that you’re on the show. -Thank you, Alicia.
-Absolutely. -Ohh. -I think every song that Kelly
writes is — is very personal. That one has a little extra

know a lot about her story, being her friend, and I applaud
you for doing something scary and just coming out here, laying out this

potentially, because if, typically,
you do lean on the technical, there’s no one better

other creative side than me. -All right, Stephanie,
who do you pick as your coach? -Man. -Me! -Oh, this is really hard.
